About the Shelter
The Formal Living Room: This is our main entrance to the house. It sits at the front of the house and is the largest room in the house. As such it is used as the main gathering point many times during the year. It is also the location of 'the pit' which is the site of many house activities.
The TV Room: Just off the dinning room is the TV room, home to the house’s largest television. The 60-inch High Definition screen makes it the choice spot to watch any major sporting event or movie, including the yearly favorites: The World Series and the Superbowl. This room also sports numerous couches and our professional-sized pool table.
The Dining Room: Also just off the formal living room is the the house dining room. Brothers will eat dinner here together and relax after a long day. Right off the dining room is our wash room. It has a both a juice and soda machine so brothers are never thirsty and was recently upgraded to include a Hobart dish washer. The wash room contains a supply of plates, glasses, and utensils for brothers to use at any time.
The Kitchen: Right off the dining room is our house kitchen. It contains a full range of cooking equipment including a large grill, an oven, and a large commercial grill. The kitchen is the work site of our chef Ken. He prepares five lunches and four dinners every week.
The Office: Next to the study hall sits Delta Tau Delta’s base of operations. It is where exec, admin and several committees meet on a regular basis to conduct business.
The Study Room: Located on the first floor, the study room houses over sixty feet of desks. The study room also contains our academic files; which consists of tests, assignments, and text books. If you should ever come to a tough spot in your studies looking over the work of another brother can often solve your problem.
Delta Tau Delta Housing: 32 doubles, 15 singles.
